HEI provided pro bono technology consulting for agencies including the US Department of Defense (DISA), and the Office of the Prime Minister of Quebec. We have also presented papers at industry technical gatherings, sponsored by organizations like AAR, BCR, IEEE, NAB, SMPTE and NSCA. In addition, HEI staff have participated in various standards-setting bodies including IEEE, STOC-TV, and NTVC.
